Dean Murrell Duster
Murrell J. H. Duster is the Dean of Academic Development/Diversity and Multicultural Programs; Professor, Early Childhood Education, College of Education; former Affirmative Action Officer and the Executive Director of the WorkForce Diversity Institute at Northeastern Illinois University. Murrell Duster's graduate studies are in Education/Educational Administration and Educational and Social Policy Studies, Loyola University of Chicago and her undergraduate degree is from Roosevelt University.
Murrell Duster has twenty-five years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education, which has afforded her a wide array of public and private sector experiences resulting in a rich and multifaceted career. Her administrative evolution has provided increasingly higher levels of clarity and responsibility in the university. Her goals have been to support and implement the university's mission to provide and maintain a student-centered learning environment.
